Established linkages with major sectors: governments, corporate, banking, public and private institutions. 1987-on going   Canadian Section of International Committee for a Community of Democracies (based on the concept of the European Community extended to include democracies of Third World countries) - Founder.

1986-on going   Special Events group of the Canadian Institute for International Affairs to discuss Canadian foreign policy issues - Founder.                                                 

1986   Canadian Friends for Human Rights and Democratic Development (following presentations and recommendations of the Simard-Hockin report) - Founding member.

1975   Seminaire au departement des Affaires Exterieures. (comite mixte) Science et technologie pour le developpement international-Une optique canadienne - Organizer and Chairman.

1975   National Voluntary Organizations:  developed the concept that Quebec based francophone organizations become an integral part of the National Committee - Executive Committee.

1973   Seminar at Dept. of External Affairs on Multinational Corporations and International Development. Successful attempt to hold discussions among relevant sectors - corporate, labour, government, international NGO's. ( model continued ). - Organizer and Chairman.

1972   United Nations Association Committee on refugees from Chile - Initiator.

1965-1970  Continuing Education courses at McGill University on the United Nations and on the Use and Misuse of Drugs - Initiator.
